Send the instruction to Codex
Codex first checks for Beav on your machine and asks you to install the desktop app if it is missing.
You keep reviewing, approving, and editing in the browser, while Codex uses Beav tools directly or delegates to the internal Beav agent through the plugin instead of clicking web buttons.
Paste it into any Codex task. The agent reads the guide on this site, installs the Beav Creator plugin, and connects to your local Beav.
/goal Read https://www.getbeav.com/agent to install the Beav Creator plugin and set up a new task for me.Codex first checks for Beav on your machine and asks you to install the desktop app if it is missing.
Beav only prepares local plugin resources; Codex installs and verifies the plugin with the CLI bundled in its desktop app, without relying on your terminal PATH.
After installation, a fresh task is created so the newly registered Beav MCP tools load in a clean agent session.
How it works
Codex → Beav Creator MCP → Beav tools or internal agent. Task status, artifacts, and completion evidence travel over typed contracts.
Browser → localhost Beav UI. Users sign in with their own account, watch progress, approve actions, and keep editing.
The Beav desktop app includes the required commands; no separate CLI installation is needed.
